Fenerbahçe has won a total of 26 Turkish League titles which make it the most league-winning club in Turkish football history; 8 championships ahead of main rivals, Galatasaray. Seventeen of these titles belong to Süper Lig only and they entitle the club to display three gold stars. Turkish Football Association award the clubs with a star for every 5 championships in Süper Lig. Fenerbahçe also finished 21 seasons as Runners-up, again best in Turkish League history.
